Smoke coming through air vents!?

   My brother has a vtr mk1 and after driving a mile and a half he said there was 'smoke coming through his air vents'. We picked his car up and it drove find except when driving there is a really bad crunching,rubbing noise when you turn the steering wheel to the right slightly. Could these be related? anybody have any ideas? cheers

   make sure there isnt an oil leak or anything, when mine was leaking oil it was dripping onto the exhaust down pipe and filling the whole car up with smoke through the air vents

   ye i said this, because he didn't bother to clean the oil off his engine after his oil breather came off, but he recons it came through his air vents. think he's just chatting shit 2bf cheers man. i'l brake clean it 2morrow to check

   ah right fair play, my oil filter case cracked and it was pissing out oil all over of the downpipe and it just blew dark thick horrible smoke through the vents, was horrible haha but ywah hopefully you'll get it sorted soon
