dodgy wiring

   hi everyone,
   
   just bought a 2000 vtr. had a few problems which i sorted out, but only just found this one
   
   when the side lights are on it brings the reverse lamp on....and whenn you out it into reverse the side lights(front and rear)come on
   
   also if you have the side lights on and put it into reverse you can take the key out of the ignition and the car still runs until you knock it out of reverse or turn the lights off
   
   help please lol bugging the hell out of me

   Faulty bulbs?
   Fuses?
   Earthing points in the car faulty?
