How does the fan get a signal 3 plug vts?

   How does the fan work on a 3plug vts, on the single plug it had a fan switch in the radiator on this it doesn't?
   
   The fan works when i wire it straight to the battery but doesn't kick in at temperature, fuses are good so could it possibly be the coolant temp sensor (blue) on the thermostat housing just trying to understand before i buy anything

   From the ecu I believe mate.

   I think its the coolant temp sensor that kicks the fan in, try unplugging it with the engine running and see if the fan kicks in
