Knocking near side front

   Harsh knocking from near side front. Any ideas ?

   On full lock? Will be drive shaft. Could be ball joint

   No not on full lock. Sounds a bit like bottom ball joint

   if you can jack the car up get the wheel off the ground and see if the wheel wobbles, you may have a slpit in the rubber or could just be the loose joint

   bottom ball joint, wishbone bush front or rear, anti roll bar, droplink, driveshaft joint could be any of these. check them all

   Check your strut top nuts are tight. 19mm impact gun or swan neck spanner and allen key.
   
   Also look inside the spring, the nut that holds the shock into the strut also can come loose and cause a fair knock. Can tighten them with a pipe wrench (stilsons).

   Put a pry bar in the bottom ball joint and check it for play.

   I'm a mechanic myself and cant find anything. Haven't tried top strut mount though
