power steering problem

   hi all i bought a 1999 1.4 westcoast 2 weeks ago the power steering wasnt working when i went to view the car so i left a deposit and they had a new pump put on the car it worked fine so i bought the car. about 3 days ago the power steering stoped working and then started again. now it wont work at all can anyone help me?

   Take the car back to where you bought it from & complain.

   99% of the time its the grey relay with the circular bottom. Change that

   Sometimes its the relay but the majority of the time its the brushes inside the pump sticking,hence why people hit the pump with a hammer & it works for a while.
