not happy

    well i started taking the saxo to bits to do the head gasket and when i took wheel arch liner off i noticed a massive rust patch that my hand went through in my arch

    its not near any major components just in the arch part so no danger i dont think but still a pain in the arse cos i thought the car was immaculate.

    seriously considering head gasket and buy a vtr now its been nothing but problems

    Afaik if it's within a certain distance of a suspension mount then it's an Mot fail

    it just got 12 months mot as was hidden by the arch liner but i dont think it will pass another maybe time to get rid lol

    if it's within 30cm of any suspension componant then it's an m.o.t fail, get it welded up man. shouldn't cost anymore than £30 at a garage. or if your close to me i could do it for you
