#2was the realease bearing changed with the clutch?
we've had at work brand new release bearings making a chattering noise within 100 miles at that were a high quality clutch kit.
just the pick of the draw. did you have it done at a garage? take it back and say your not happy with the noise.
saying that though it could be the shaft bearing in the box -
#3Im going to take a guess and say you have maybe had a l.u.k clutch kit fitted. They have a noisy thrust bearing and will stay noisy for the first couple of thousand miles then they quiet down.
If not a l.u.k clutch take it back and see what they say. -
#4thanks guys, ill let it do a couple 100 mile might quieting down. not sure which clutch kit it was as i let the garage get it for me as euro parts sold me the wrong kit. apparently the clutch cover had worn through on my old clutch. is it the thrust bearing that spins against that? am i making sense?

#7I had a LUK clutch kit fitted and that didn't make no noises at all.
Just take the car back to the garage have it checked. -

After the third - i found out you can buy uprated thrust bearings.. So i will be putting one of those on next time the box if off

#9I've got an uprated bearing in mine and had no problems yet, def sounds like a bearing fault anyway!
