Supercharger: Inlet manifold Silicon Hose

  1. #1
    Hi,

I'm in the final stages (still) of putting a rotrex c30 on my VTS and can't seem to find a silicon hose to go from the hoses/ pipes ive routed from the intercooler to the inlet manifold. the inlet manifold seems to be 67mm and the piping from the cooler is 60mm cant seem to find a 90 degree reducer anywhere. I naively bought a 70 to 60mm thinking its only 3mm lol.
Do I have to buy a bespoke one or can anyone think of a way to increase the O.D of the manifold?

I'm sure the likes of Spoox Motorsport can make you up a custom hose, pretty sure they made a custom one for a friend an it wasnt even that pricey, this is going back a few months mind, but its worth giving them a call.

Cheers for looking. I can almost stretch a 60mm over it so I've order a 63mm reducer hopefully with some boiling water it will stretch!

Random, just bought a few odd bolts off you on ebay.
Cheers for the number but I've managed to get around the problem by cutting the end off an old k&n cone filter hose and jamming it on.

67-60 are common in 45 degrees - not so in 90 degrees. See if you can reroute your pipework to use the 45 degree one. Appreciate it's not the answer you were hoping for. See below on my old inlet.
