Apex Rear Shocks/Bilstein?

  1. #1
I have my furio lowered 40mm on the rear on standard shocks, I want to get some new apex shocks when I get paid. I been looking on eBay.
I dont want a full set so the whole kit for like £250 is out the window I just want to gradually get the whole kit.

I been looking on eBay and found a few
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Apex-Sh...ht_3545wt_1270

But if you go down to additional information it says:
Lowering: 50 mm - Chassis Type: S - Note: Check the routing of the power steering hoses and make sure that they are not touching the steering arms .

Now I cant find one on eBay that says 40mm. Does it matter? Are they shorter ect? Or does this just mean I can go as low as 50mm? So ill be okay to get them for my 40mm?

If anyone could find me a link to a good pair of rears that would be good

Also whats people views on Bilstein?
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-CITRO...ht_1734wt_1037

    Says on the listing:
making them ideal for use with standard or lowered springs.
So would these be ideal for me?
Or am I better going for the aPex ones?

    cheerssss

Those Bilstein shocks you posted are replacement OE dampers, so basically standard replacements, are you lowered on the front? Kam racing sell a full Apex kit for about £200, so if you're not lowered on the front you're best of going for the full Apex kit as those two shocks in the ebay link seem expensive.

Im lowered at the front yeah, I dont earn enough to pay for it fully out on a kit. I no its seems stupid because I will pay more over time but yeah I ideally want to buy new rears this month then new front next month.

So the bilstein are no good? go for apex? In the apex listing it says 50mm, will I have to find one what says 40mm as im at 40mm or does that mean I can lower the car to 50mm and it will be fine?

Buy as a kit save some money and swap it all over at once. Stop being so impatient!

It's not that im being impatient, if that's they way I want to do it then that's the way I want to do it. I already said that's the way I want to do it, I'd like the other questions answered

Apex are uprated dampers. The Bilstein are standard OE replacement. If the Bilstein damper is black its an OE item. All sports dampers from Bilstein are yellow.
