Ive got drilled an vented discs with green stuff pads an toyo proxies pr1s what could i do to improve braking
  2. #2
    Braided hoses?
    Better pads?
  3. #3
    Plain good quality disks
Better pads (wouldn't even use green stuff as a door stop)
    New fluid
    Braided lines

does it lock the wheels currently? if so improve tires.

If not, get some better pads and plain oe discs.

Or get bigger brakes (266mm from the 206 gti or 283mm from the gti-6) have a search

Ferodo DS2500 would be far better than green stuff

A question about braided brake pipes.

Other then lasting longer obviously what else are they good for? cheers.

The braid is primarily there for protection. If your hoses are in tip top condition then you are unlikely to notice a difference but you will if the rubber has deteriorated. They may last longer as the rubber is not exposed to the elements directly but I dont know of any long term tests to prove that.

Pads are often a 'forgotten' mod. People will go for big brake conversions when all they basically need is a good brake pad on their current set-up.

I don't rate EBC stuff anymore. I'd go for a better pad, DOT4 brake fluid and possibly braided hoses.

    they currently lock up easy?!

that means you need better tyres not brakes...
