Lacquer

   Going to shot blast my rocker cover and polish it until its the shinnyest cover ever. So when i lacquer it do i need to get special heat resistance lacquer or will any acrylic lacquer do ?

   Imho no just use heat resistant paint then lacquer others will disagree about the need for heat resistant paint,but its made for a reason.

   yeah i but im going to polish it so normal lacquer will be fine ?

   only lacquer that will last will be 2k. Single pack aerosol will have no grip and wont last long as there is no etch into the surface. If your going to do it the correct way then blast it polish it and clear powder coat it and it will last forever.

   Any ideas where i can get things cheaply powder coated ?
