Saxo Front Seat Problems

   ok so ive searched the site and found that rocking front seats are a common problem.
   
   is there no way at all to fix this?
   
   the further back the seat is the worse it seems to be.
   
   was going to have a look at the seats and wondered if anyone knows how to take them apart? if thats even possible

   Mine ripped a hole in the floor pan do was rocking stripped it out and welded a plate with a nut on. All sorted

   took the seat out before and ripped a hole on front bolt, got that all welded up and now the drivers seat rocks too just annoying and want it to be fixed it doesnt feel safe.
   
   all the bolts are done up as tight as they can too

   Happened to me.
   
   Cars in the garage getting welded as we speak as it failed MOT on this.

   Floors okay on mine but the seat runners are worn, it rocks a little but worse than that if I push too hard the seat will move back on the left runner. I've stripped it, but its just worn. The runner is held to the seat by two bolts so I'd suggest a trip to the scrap yard and try and find a decent runner from another saxo or 106, even the 2 door xsara (mk1) runners are almost identical and could be modded to fit if need be.

   dunno what else to do as its already been welded and all it did was make it worse, luckily mot isnt til next year, might have got new seats by then but still want these ones fixed before they break completely. just feels like the back wants to snap off when you brake or accelerate

   I used coins to keep mine still otherwise it would squeek like fuck.
