Balance VTS wheels?

   I got my tyres changed on my VTS rims the other week, they couldn't balance them because the center of the alloy is solid?
   
   Are there any national chains that CAN balance them?

   I haven't found any other than Citroen, who last time I asked charge about £20 a wheel
   
   Although I have been running the vts wheels and the vtr wheels i had before without balancing and never had any problems or vibrations

   I think it's the way they mount them on the machine, it needs to go through the center, bunch of arse!

   Most decent tyre places should be able to do it, they just use an adjustable hub that they bolt to your wheel, then mount it on the balancer. Its just that 90% of places can't be arsed so just fob you off. The place I use charge me standard rate now as their hub is set up for Citroen / peugeots now so doesn't take any longer to do.

    National Tyres near me does it.
    
    According to them they have an adapter for alloys with no centre holes.

    Any wheel place can do it it's just the adaptor they need. It's something stupid like 800 and isn't worth buying anymore as most alloys have a centre bore.

    had mine done last week...£7 a corner...he moaned like fuck tho cause he had to change the machine over cause of the solid centres

    we can't balance these types of wheels cause the adapter is stupidly expensive and it;s cheaper to take it to national round the corner and let them do it cause they have the adapter.
