    Cars overheating every 5mins
Took car to garage, not headgasket althought slight gunk in coolant
Blowers blow hot until temp guage gets past 3/4s
Not sure i bled system properly but i gave it a good go.

    What could it be.

did the garage do a pressure test? a radiator pressure test also?

you say fans blow hot till 3/4 temp? which makes no sense, do the fans kick in? antifreeze in the system? as lack of antifreeze can cause no hot air from blowers..

    trickling water noise on startup?

    water levels dropping?

whats the oil like? a bit of gunk could be down to condenstation

flush it, problem will properly solve itself then

I mean the heater blowers blow hot until temp guage gets to about 3/4

    Water levels not dropping

If you're hearing gurgling/bubbling on startup in the footwells then it could be heater matrix, it's an arse of a job.. Have to take dash out etc.

Have been doing this, but after a while stopped working.

    So update.

Drove car 1Mile, car overheated opened bonnet, coolant hose burst all over the engine, fan was still on it killed the battery so was stuck.
Put more water in it but still overheated.
Bought a tow rope, but mate not so good at towning.
Managed to get to gf's house rebled the system.
Was on around 45% on the temp guage then while driving to the garage.
Garage will let me know whats wrong tomoz.

The head gasket will go if you keep driving it like this lol.

Lol, well still no news from garage.
If headgasket does go its a excuse for a vts engine

Cars back turns out rad was blocked and thermostat wasnt working.

Drives sweet as now, although still rubbing from the 16s but i can live with that
