Hi all, my Mk1 VTS has been off the road for a couple of weeks and as a result now has a flat battery, which isn't an issue.
The problem comes when I jump start it. If I open a door to get in or out or anything like that, the alarm starts going off?
There's no after market system fitted and I don't have the original FOB.
The central locking is a mess as it is and I'd like to replace it, so would getting a whole new lock set, key and maybe fob (for the doors/boot) fix it?
Any temporary fix in the mean time would be pretty helpful too, people keep thinking I'm trying to steal my own car
