vtr clocks

   The clocks on my phase 2 vtr are broken so I'm looking to replace them with some from the scrapper , if I put a set of clocks on with 50 thousand and my original clocks have 100 thousand on what will it display , is mileage stored on clocks or the ecu ? Pleae help me

   It is stored on the clocks dude.

   It will show 50k if that's what the new ones have, I'm 90% sure

   So I've got to find one with ruffly same mileage as orignal ? Anyway to get mileage changed if I get clocks with 50 thou on ?

   If you get new clocks the mileage will not be the same as your old ones, you can send them off to get them changed.

   Any idea how much it would cost ? All the lights are down on mine tried solderin new leds on but still no luck , will it fail mot ?

   I take it you`ve tried adjusting the brightness of the lights?

   Can't adjust them on mine sure that's only on vts

   I adjusted the brightness of my dash on my mk 2 vtr read the owners handbook it tells you in there

    Not got a owners manual , got a haynes but had a flick through and couldn't find anything

    How ? Can't be that though surely I'd see it light up even on lowest , I'm positve I can't adjust mine , thought adjuster for them was right hand side a wheel mines headlight angle

    On a mk2 saxo on the actual dash clock you`ve 2 buttons 1 of those adjusts the clock,the other one adjusts the dash brightness.
