   i want to upgrade my front discs and pads and been looking at the brembo max range,are they any good,there quite cheap,or what other setup would you reccommend?dont mind paying about £150,thanks for any help.

   £150 will only get you an ok replacement. Like with anything... you pay for what you get.

   well got the brembo max vented discs,and the fast road mintex pads,£119.

   not much better over standard. a disc coversion will be cheaper than that.

   Yeah there are several brake conversions you will find for that price.. Upgrading pads would be a good idea.. Upgraded disks I think are a waste of money..
   
   Grooved disks are good, but drilled disks are liable to crack.. Flat faced disks are still great, as long as they are vented. If I were you I'd go for a second hand 266mm front disk conversion. There are many models of Citroen/Peugeot that use this set up.. Such as: 306 GTI-6.. 206 GTI, Xsara VTS, some Berlingo models etc, etc... If you are using 14" wheels you may have to angle grind a small amount off the caliper, but this is no biggie..

   wish id just done it straight away now! Good ridge brake hoses are good also!
