Outer Sills

   hello, my vts failed its MOT due to a rotten hole in the rear of each sill, can the outer sills be replaced or will it need to be patched/welded, any help or advice would be apprecitated as i have searched online and cant find anybody that manufactures replacement sills

   depends on how much rot there is, if you can't find relacement sills, then i'm sure you'll be able to find some that can be adapted but if its that rusty that the entire sill needs replacing, i'd question the economic sense in doing it

   thanks m8, its not the entire sill that is rotten its about 6/7 inch around the jacking point thought i would have been able to get replacements easily, i will look around for something similar thanks

   My front jacking point is rotten and got a hole so mine need doing. It's a common saxo problem mate. They always rot there. I'm going get some1 patch weld it.

   well i'm getting some welding done on saturday then back in for an MOT pass on monday
