Annoying problem

   Opened my car door this morning and it made a funny clicking noise. Now every time I open the door it just slams shut. Is this a common problem as I'm pretty sure it happened to my old saxo aswell. It's annoying the hell outta me aha, any ideas?

   Door pins i think. I spayed some WD40 on the hinge and it stopped the horrible noise, but u need to get them replaced (the pins) for the door to stay open. Im used to mine now. Its not that big of a deal :]

   Check strap needs greasing.

   Gvie every thing a good oil up and some grease.

   wd40 / grease its the most comman thing with cars

   check strap is gone. common fault on pug/cit cars, seen a few (including mine) with it.

   If its slamming shut then its broken pal, oiling won't help. Unless the little bolt part has come out. It's a bit fiddly to fit one but not especially hard, may be a guide on here?

   Also they come loose try tighten it up.

    Both mine and my mums old 306. hers had massive doors and they bloody hurt!
