As title..
Only way I can describe the noise. Sounds like its turning too..?
Any common problems with this?

Left hand side, as if you're standing facing the engine from the front of the car?
Is it cambelt or gearbox side?
Cambelt could be slightly tight, causing a whirring/whining noise.
Or the Clutch release bearing could be noisy..
