Check your rear brake shoes or pads. Replace if needed. Check Your brake compensator valve to see if it's not seized. They've is a video on how I did mine in the problems and queries section I think on page 3.cv boot needs replacing get one of those with a slit you glue together easy job to do.check your handbrake cable and adjust if nessasary and replace the bulb. Myself I would let garage replace brake pipe as brakes need to be bleed and it won't cost much at garage

the brake pads and disks are ok the garage said and where would i get one of them thing for the cv boot? how much would it be for the brake lines you think?

It's hard to say. Just ask the garage how much would they charge. Your looking at an hours labour plus parts. IDE say about £40 to £50 for both brake lines and brake fluid and bleeding your brakes. Your garage could be a lot cheaper. Just ask them tomorrow

stuff like this can be done on the side. infact i have done before lol.

the imbalance could be the pads seized in the carrier or a fooked caliper.
parking brake. fooked caliper or seized handbrake cable.
brake pipe piece of piss it's one of the easiest to get at so on a ramp at a garage would only take 1/2 IF the bleed nippes don't snapp.

headlight not working.- new h4 bulb probs £5
cv boot personally would replace with a proper strechy one. the ones with the slit (cover ones) are shite new boot alone could cost £60 if the shaft is seized in ect.

overall in a garage you'd be looking at around 4 hours labour at around £50 so thats £200 + parts.

    parts could be
    new caliper- front
new caliper rear (poss x2) or handbrake cable/ adjustment.
    brake pipe
    brake fluid
    bulb
    c.v boot clips.

could easily have another £200 in parts alone as a worse case situation.

the guy at the garage quoted me £175 for everything labour and part so is that good

the imbalance could be the pads seized in the carrier or a fooked caliper. - should i just take off the caliper and make sure it moves ok?
