106 gti twin fan spinning wrong way

    just picked car up from garage after being rebuilt i bought a twin fan from a 106 gti in replacement of my broken vtr fan. on way home the car started getting hot I realized the fans where blowing air away from car instead of in to radiator. there is also a relay on the wiring now not sure why ? if the wires are the wrong way will the fans spin wrong way and do i need the relay ?

    there is a wire from the bonnet catch not connected where does this go ?

    there is a orange light on the dash what does not go off it used to come on when i started car then go off but now it stays on what is this ?

    any help would be appreciated i want to fix this myself but could do with some help

    connect them the other way round.

    What year is your car and the one it came off? Some fans are mounted behind the radiator to suck air through, and some are mounted in front to blow air through.

    Have a read into basic electronics if your gunna be messing with em...

    Engine Management Light or ABS if your have it? What does it look like? Get the code read and solve whatever it's saying's wrong...

    ok thanks mate i will have a look at the wiring at the weekend as it is not at my house for now. my car is a 52 plate vtr and it came from a 2001 Peugeot 106 gti

    the light on the dash looks like a engine and is orange. could this be on if the wires are missing and the horn is not connected yet ? as it was not on before i took it
