Query - SaxSport 2" Race System

   Right, so I have a SaxSport 2" race system, so decat with a dummy silencer.
   
   I have a standard manifold, not a 4-2-1.
   
   Just how much should one of these things pop and bang? I was expecting a bit of popping and banging on overrun etc, but it's like driving round with a machine gun on the back of the car?
   
   I got a video taken of it last night while I was sat at 60mph on the A1, so about 3,000rpm, steady cruising speed, and it was popping away like mad. Is it normal?
   
   It doesn't really matter I guess, I don't actually drive it much, and it is funny, its just more than I was expecting, so I thought I'd check incase there's something sadly wrong somewhere else lol.

   it sounds like its rubbing on sumfink my old saxo had a straight tho it used to backfire all the time but yours is a hard sound to put your finger on

    It's not rubbing anywhere, it's on all new hangers and spotty dog, but it's just popping like mad!

    Could be overfueling, is the EML on?
    
    What did you do with the 2nd lambda (i.e one after the cat)?

    The EML works, because it illuminates during the ignition cycle, but doesn't come on at all during driving no. Car pulls and drives fine.
    
    I've re-routed the lambda to beside one of the front headlights and fitted a lambda sleeve to it.

    Hmmm should be ok then, my Janspeed pops but the EML flickers on and off and only seems to do it when it comes on.
    
    Saxsports are known for popping, can't listen to your video as im at work but have you compared it to one example from youtube?

    It's not the sound of the popping really, it's more that it's present even when you're just tootling along maintaining an even speed lol, I just didn't expect that to be the case.
    
    Sadly the majority of examples on youtube are yoof's ragging it up streets and through tunnels while their mates film it on Nokia's by the looks of it lol.
