   Thanks to all posters and repliers
   Am feeling a bit proud of myself so had to post to say thanks for all the help.
   
   Back in March I needed an unusual body part for my car but didn't know what it was called - I got help here (it was the under headlamp trim!!)
   
   Got it ordered, sprayed it and fitted it myself tonight!!
   
   Dipstick was twisted - didn't seem right - checked here -its normal. The bit missing off the end, I found out here, while common, is not good - got a new one from a scrapyard on Monday!!
   
   Needed to change headlamp bulb but couldn't get the clippy thing off - did a search and got help here - headlamp also replaced this evening - in the rain!!!
   
   The car (saxo 1.1i desire) is far from new and not exactly gleaming but she runs well - and now has two headlights and all the trimings!!
