Just lowered

   Just has my vts lowered on spax 40mm springs, and 50mm at the back. Front still looks a little high, does it look ok or do u think 50 on the front would look better? Cheers.

   My car appears lower on the back than it does on the front. I think it's because it's quite difficult to match the front and back because of the torsion bar. Give it a couple of weeks though mate as new springs need time to set which will drop the car a little.

   Just lowered it on springs was going to it properly with dampers aswell but decided just to go for springs instead. The ride is ok at the moment its not anymore bumpy really. Going to upgrade my torsion bar and get a strut brace soon so hopefully that will improve the handling.

   Lower strut brace I take it? You'll be ok fitting that if down 40mm. Because I'm down 60mm, there is no way my car would clear speed bumps if I had a lower strut brace hence me wanting to raise it back up 20mm.

   Mines lowered 40mm & my OMP lower strut brace is fine

    Yes... 40mm is fine. I'm not too keen on fitting one to my car with it being down 60mm as it grounds out as it is.

    i wasn't going to fit a lower brace only a top one but you think a lower one is going to be better?

    A upper strut brace helps but is mainly for show (apparently) the lower one is much better,mine was only £35

    If you want to stiffen the car up, then get a lower strut brace. They do a lot more than the upper ones.

    weird that it looks lower at the back on mine my back is a little higher than the front!!
