Grinding please help

   ok guys so ive replaced my passenger driveshaft and ball joint today cos both were shagged, however now its all back togethar there is a horrible grinding noise which sounds like its coming from the gearbox end of the driveshaft althogh i could be wrong and there is alot of resistance when spinning the wheel any ideas

   did you replace the driveshaft with the correct type?

   well weird thing is I have abs so i got 1 with the abs ring on when i took my old one off it didnt have an abs ring but i now when i had my ax i fitted 1 with an abs ring and it was fine do you think this could be the problem?

   That wont be the problem you can use a abs shaft on a non abs model.
   as mentioned.. Are you sure you have got the right type of driveshaft? They changes shafts to tapered in 2000 iirc.

   thats only for the hub end of the driveshaft, have you pushed the driveshaft in enough as sometimes they feel like they in but there not, would cause the splined end to just chew itself to pieces
