Wanted more braking power so was going to source 306 calipers, servo and master. But need to know how easily the calipers will go onto strut and t-bar??
306 calipers???

#2Best bet is to go for the 283mm gti-6 brakes, they can be had for £80-£130 with disks and pads. They need a fair bit grinded off to fit a saxo though.
-
#3also you mention tbar assume you mean the rear beam theres no need or point upgrading the rear brakes at all
and you dont nessecerily need bigger
i have standard 247mm calipers on my track vtr and did 25 minute sessions on track with no fade and was out braking a few cars
good pad material and fluid are often overlooked and size chased when all your really doing is adding hib weight -
#4at most i would go for 266s. mine stop excellently with only standard discs and pads, without fade. 283s always seems like overkill to me
-
#6What would you say Is the best pad material so get decent anchors??

#8165 beans!

#9blues arent that good from my experience id rather a set of rc5+ after the performance at mallory mine put up
blues we had a clio with a set ruin them totally in a 15 minute track session
-
#10Never had an issue with my blues, first set did oulton twice and a Trax session and over 20k on the road and that was on a 306
-
#11literally only seen the one set
some people like them i wouldnt bother for the price when in my experience the cls are farrr superior and less -
#12Has anyone tried yellowstuff pads??
-
#13yellow stuff are actually fairly reasonable
steer clear of green and red.though -
#14I have a full set of GTi6 calipers, hoses, nearly new discs and pads for sale, pm me
