clutch

   When the clutch it pressed or just in the normal position there is a loud constant squeaking noise.....but if i grab the pedal and put it up the noise goes away.....anyone any ifeas?

   Thrust bearing is fucked new clutch kit time.

   +1 thrust bearing defo , clutch might be fine though just a pain hearing that noise though

   defo clutch release bearing get a new one or get new clutch as they cheap and gearbox will have to come off anyway

   If one is fucked change them both pointless not to when its the same amount of work.

   My bearing done this once.
   
   You can tell it was going as you could hear a really small rotational squeak. And then one day I started the car, was really loud and then just blew without any real warning. Good job it was getting done te day after anyway.

   Is 90 for it to be fitted a good price?

   Its a 4 to 5 hour job, so 90/5 = £18 an hour.
