172 injectors?

   ive got an vts engine to go in my car putting cat 708's in with a p&p tb and 4-2-1 mani, but my mate has some 172 injectors lying around would i see any benifit from fitting these?

   Standard injectors are good for around 160 bhp so no they will be a pointless mod
