when i had my cams done, the guy who fitted them had to reuse the old cam seals because i was given the wrong ones, anyway it started to leak from just above the alternator near the cam belt cover. so got the right seals and the same guy changed them over, its not as bad but there is still oil dripping on the floor not sure exactly were from but its dropping from the lead that goes to the alternator (underneath the cam belt cover) could this be related to the cam seals still? hope im making sense.

#2Is it not from the cam covers themselves?
-
#3i dont think so mate they look as tho there sealed well, seems to be dripping of a bit of loom that runs to the alternator passing underneath the cam belt cover, i thought it could of just been of access oil what was there before i got the cam seals done, but i cleaned it all up and dried it, but same happens

#4ill try jetwashing the bis thats covered in oil because its a right mess, then maybe see were its coming from
-
#6Cam covers mine did the same..
-
#8What covers you got dude?
-
#9just the standard vts ones that were on the car, jet down the engine today, cleaned the oil up pretty well, seen that there is oil coming from the covers from near the cam belt case and also at the other side near the air intake, the guy who fitted cams told me to bring it back and hel have a look, hope its sorted by next Tuesday

Just like mine used to grind off the lugs on the cam covers
-
#11thats the exact place its coming from, in your last picture the black casein thats protecting a wire next to the green wire? it drips of there. so do you think its just the matter of taken the covers off and given them a really good seal?

#12Grind the lugs off the covers then re seal only way i stopped it mate.
