Smooth Boot

  1. #1
when you smooth your boot and get rid of the number plate recess, wot do people use to light their rear number plate when its in its new position?

does anyone know anywhere i can buy something from to do the job and do people have any pics of what they have used?

ideally i would like something that is smooth and wont look too out of place on the rear bumper

    any ideas?

is that an up-lighter then cos it looks like its pointing straight at the camera. also how did you fix it to the bottom of the number plate?

also does anyone know if you need number plate lights to pass an mot?

    cheers

Yeah it does light up the Number plate when I turn my lights on,will try and find a pic in a min of it like that.
And yes it is an MOT fail if its not lit up.
The garage that did the work fixed it up for me.

do you know what light they used? is it the original saxo light or one from another car? a close up pic would be really helpful and a pic of how its fixed on if possible.

    thanks for you help

any idea what car the light is from tho?

I think it could be just a custom one because I think the light might look a bit dodgy if it was anywhere else apart from underneath the car because of the way it sticks out.
Could always have it recessed into your Bumper like a Pug 106.
