Righty then, so I've got a weird rubbery chirping noise from my car.
The basics are:
- it's not there when you start driving, it happens after say 2 miles or so
- it's not related to engine revs, it stays constant with speed regardless engine rpm
- I thought brakes, but braking makes no impact on the noise at all
- I can't physically see anything rubbing or signs of anything contacting under the car
- it's not really any louder outside the car / with the window open
- it's annoying
- best way I can think to describe it is as a rubbery chirping noise
- the alternator belt is correctly tensioned
- car drives fine, no eml or loss of power etc
Any ideas of what I can start to look at next? I've checked to see if what was anything stupid like the heater fans or anything, that's a negative.
HELPPPP!
