ive got a 2000 1.1 desire, pretty good condition but the head gaskets on its way out and the clutch is also on its way out i dont really wanna get rid of it but is it worth fixing it all? its done 87000 miles now so dont know how much it will have left in it anyway? the rear beam has also partly collapsed :/
do i sell it on before it all dies or repair it and keep it or kill it and scrap it?

i say for what its worth get rid, your looking at a pretty high cost unless you can do it all yourself and even still its going to be quite costly.

Kill it and break the panels then scrap it

If you can do everything yourself, stick another beam on and do the head gasket. Not much outlay there at all is it.

If you can't do it, either flog it on or break it.

Headgasket is about £100 in parts, rear beam say another £150 or so, then price of a clutch whatever that is.

Thats if he can do it himself, if not....gonna be mega bucks
