VTS alloys on a quicksilver

  1. #1
Hey guys, asking on behalf of a mate; the tyre is 195/55/15 and rubs on the back so bought 9.5mm spacers, now he needs wheel bolts that fit.

Would anybody be able to link me to some reasonably priced bolts that will fit?
Or even the sizes and profile of the bolts (taperd/flat/etc)

    Cheers guys!

The reason it rubs mate is because he has the wrong size tyre on, they should be 195/45/15 not 55 profile, mines down 70mm on the back and 60mm front with vts alloys on (195/45/15 tyres) and even with a full car it doesn't scrub, wrong tyre size bro

Also disc beams are wider than drum beams so even 45s might rub.

Yeh forgot about that point, but still only a small spacer would be needed, like a couple of mil? And standard bolts would be fine up to 5mm of spacer?

I have a drum rear axle and vts alloys on the back of mine with 45 profile tyres and it doesn't rub even when loads of weight in the back :-)

As said, needs the right tyres on (45 profile) I've had loads of bricks in the back of mine and it was down on the bumpstops and it didn't scrub at all. Drove like shit, but it didn't scrub lol

Yes, 55 is way too big on a saxo, end of. Even standard height you'd have full lock issues!

i dont understand how 55 profile tyres even got on to a saxo alloy?? unless it was on something like a 206 or c2

ive got 195/50/15's atm and i get full lock with them on the front, did have some scrapping issues with 2 people in the back though
