Creaking/Knocking sound

    Hello,
    Recently i've noticed when in the low revs or whenever i move the accelerator pedal i get a creaking sound, it sounds like something needs oiling but i have no idea what to oil or even if thats the problem ?

    Also every so often i've noticed a knocking sound in pulling off, it sounds like the exhaust rattling on some metal but i've checked and thats all secure , any ideas ?

    Is the car standard?
    I know in a few cases a 4 branch manifold can knock on start off, but ive never known the standard one too.
    If theres a creaking sound coming from the pedal, i'd juist oil that and also the cable as it could be sticking. If its rusted or anything it might be best to replace it, theyre fairly easy, you just follow the original one but ive never done a 1.1, dont see it being much different though.
    The knocking noise could also be a driveshaft?

    I think knocking noise is probably wish bone mine does the same thing. Also is creaks from the rear? Could be doki axel or mite be arb bolt need tightening.

    Yeah it's standard except the exhaust up to the manifold, the creakings coming from under the car everytime I press/release either the clutch or accelerator ? it sounds like its underneath between the front seats?

    So I got underneath today couldnt find the creaking, however the knocking was what i assume as the handbrake cable going into the back wheel, had come loose and the tyre was flinging it around, it's worn right down to the inner metal, should is it likely to break or corrode now ?

    if it creaking from from pull off id undo the front of the exhaust pipe that joins to the downpipe, add some fresh paste in then bolt up! Might be that.

    Sorry if its a stupid question, but what's the paste?

    And it's from pulling off and using the Clutch pedal/Accelerator pedal, until the engine is warm, and then it stops.

    When you pull off the exhaust jerks too. Only a 5 min job really. I had a squeak when i pulled off/changed gear doing that sorted the job!

    Can only try.

    mine was creaky, it was the droplink.
    my pedal was creaky, i oiled it.

    Turns out the knocking was my handbrake cable rubbing the back wheel because the mount had come off
