brakes hard takes ages to slow down

    alright evryone i recently bought another vtr its been a long time since i last owned one and think there somthing wrong with the brakes there hard to push down and takes so long to stop if anyone can help it will be much appriciated cheers james

    Bleed the brakes/check the fluid & check the pads for wear mate.

    with the ignition off pump the pedal so it hardly moves. then with your foot still on the pedal start the car. it should sink slowly to the floor. if it dont it could be the servo aint working. check the hose running to it from the inlet for splits.

    I was going to suggest the same going by the OPs symptoms. Sounds like the vacuum hose may be split, not connected etc.

    Tried the servo that workin fine might have to try bleeding the brakes hopefully that will sort it :/

    there is a bleed order for the brakes.

    1. Passenger-side rear wheel
    2. Driver-side front wheel
    3. Driver-side rear wheel
    4. Passenger-side front wheel

    thats the wrong order though, you work your way from the furtherest away from the servo to the closest

    Thanks I try bleeding them tomorrow see if it sort the prob cuz it takes so long to come to a stop
