exhaust rattle

   fitted new bb and in reverse centre pipe knocks on the red part of the rear axle a bit so was gonna wrap a lil heat wrap round the area it knocks to pad it. any problem with this as not to sure what the red part does

   Red part being the torsion bar?
   
   Personally I would get different hangers for the backbox so it sits higher up.

   As above & make sure got the correct clamp,that goes from the centre pipe to the back box.

   it all hangs fine and correct clamp just in rev it vibrates on the red part of the torsion bar, no other time.

   Powerflex & to the OP make sure the downpipe clamp that goes onto the gearbox is ok,because you can get vibration transfered from that.

   yea it aint bolted down to that cos last mani broke there. its ll tight and what not just in reverse it vibrates onto that red torsion bar part so just wann pad it to stop annoying noise

   Try bending the hangers on the back box so that it sits higher if that doesn`t work then try some cable ties mate.

   done all this its as high as it goes. tried bending it more nothing works so wrapped it where it touches and its all good now

    Lol i wedged a old hanger/rubber between the exhaust and the torsion bar and tied it with wire, bodge job, but it works lol.
