So is it totally screwed or can I fit new bearing that I see people talking about? Seems to cure the problem if fixed quickly..

Cheers Joe.
Fooking expensive problem this has turned out to be! Just wondering if it's worth sorting... pity, ain't a bad motor really! Will give that arm a yank shortly and see what's going on..

Unless your MOT is due or its bad enough to be rubbing the rear arch then I would leave it until its needs to be done.
