replaced steering wheel ,now airbag light wont go off!!!!!!PIC!!!

    hi just replaced my steering , is there a quick way like pulling out a fuse to turn airbag light off ,instead of ripping the whole dash out and taping the light?

    you cant turn the light out anymore with tape as its a mot failure. u need to put a resistor in the wiring to make the light come on and off as normal. plenty of the question covered if u search it

    its a hard one to search ,how do i put a resistor in the wiring?

    search airbag resistor even i made a thread on it as well as may others recently. its real easy

    If you`ve still got the airbag squib/contact ring attached at the back of the steering wheel then unplug it.You`ll be left with plug coming up from the dash which is female,take a resistor(2 ohms)cut the legs down to size & put 1 leg in each hole in the plug.Then stick a piece of insulation tape over the top to hold it on.A quick way of getting to the plug is to drop the plastic steering column shrouds & you`ll see the orange cable.
