VTS Cooling Fan

    Help again please

In this particularly warm weather we've been having, I've noticed my temperature gauge creeps up in traffic unless I have the heaters on, which isn't overly pleasant, so I suspect my cooling fan isn't kicking in.

I've had a peek, and I can see a loose connector down in the front of the bumper near it, but I can't see anywhere to plug it. Anyone tell me where the cooling fan connection is to check it? Or if there are any particular fuses or relays that fail?

    Thanking you

    Added Pictures:

You can see the cable with the connector in down in front of the fan, and in the 2nd picture, a close up of the connector, as seen from underneath, looking up from the front bumper.

Just to clarify here, incase I'm being a monster 'tard, approximately where should the needle get to on the temperature gauge before the electric cooling fan kicks in?

3/4 should kick it maybe just before that but no more than 3/4.

    FML.

Right, maybe it does work then. It was just poking above the halfway in traffic, which it hasn't done before as I've not really driven it much, and it's been cold, so I assumed the fan should be kicking in after that. It's not got anywhere near 3/4.

I'll test this later on, run it stationery with the heaters off to get the temperature up a bit and make sure the fan kicks in.

    LOL.
