vts battery terminal earths

   hey does any1 know where the earth for the postive and negative baterry terminals go on a 2003 saxo vts any help would b great had gearbox and forgot where they go

   positive doesn't go to earth, that should be pretty simple
   
   on the positive side, one goes to starter motor, one to the larger fuses next to the master cylinder, and the last goes into the fusebox on the passenger wing. earths are to gearbox, inner wing (just behind battery) and i'll have to look if theres a third!

   i wouldnt be so quick to say that... plenty of vehicles out there still earth from the positive. thats why people say "remove the earth first" rather than "remove the negative"
   
   there are two earths though as already said.

   its the to i had of when i took the gearbox of iv got the postive 1 black cable with the circle with the hole on the back of a starter case bolt and the other is the same on the negative side black cable with a circle with a hole but dont know where to put it any help much would b great

   Positive bolts to starter. The negative goes to a bolt on the back of the gearbox

   ok iv bolted the negative 1` til the gearbox now the postive 1 .just now on the starter iv got a big brown wire on the big thread on the starter and the small thread a little grey wire so i take it the big thread has to have the big 1 from the postive terminal aswell as the big brown wire sorry if am wrong its been apart for 2 weeks and cant mind how its goes back
