EGR valve or whatever you call it

   Took mine off today but i didnt realise you had to have a blanking pate to go on the cylinder head? has anygone got one or know where i can get one from? Also is it right for it to smoke out the hole when turning the engine off? didnt know it would be safe to blank the hole off??

   Try somewhere like Kamracing,gmcmotorsport or ebay mate for the blanking plate,I expect you could make 1 up yourself.

   everyone blocks it off
   
   all i did on my old vts was cut the bit that bolts to the head of the pipe cover a 2p in sealant and use the bit cut iff tk hold it over the hole

   Agreed, weld a small 2p size sheet onto the head, or a 2p and Silicone sealant.

   What saxo have you got? As only the 01+ Vts (three plug ecu) had the EGR!
