Bottom nut on starter motor

    My starter has 3 nuts one gear box side , two on the other one on top and one underneath which is an absolute bastard to get at, i have the other two out but cant figure out a way to get at it properly so i've enough room to turn the rachet.. any easier ways or is it just an absolute nightmare? i've searched btw before someone says it and found nothing.. cheers

    Don't use a ratchet use a spanner or if you still can't do it, its a lot more accessible from having the car jacked up and going up from below

    nothing easier tbh. is a bugger to get to. use a small spanner makes it easier. some say doing it from under the car and reach up but i looked at it and thought naaaaa il stay at the top lol
