Rear wheel knocking,help!

    Back end of my saxo has started knocking when I drive... Any suggestions??

    sounds like a wheel bearing or a fucked rear axel.

    I don't know yet. Wil check tonight. I have removed the wheel hub and put new shoes in the rear

    on mine somehow the rear left hand side shock had come undone from the top and was dangling down knocking on bits of the car, fuck knows how it happened but you never know, could be the same for you

    just thought id throw that out there

    I changed the brake shoes at the weekend. Not sure about the axel...

    the brake shoes shouldnt cause any knocking if you done it correctly.
    Stupid question, Did you tighten all the bolts up correctly?
