Recently the saxo has developed a grinding noise from the front right, at first I thought arch lining but that's fine and nowhere near the wheel. Makes the noise when going straight or turning right. Sound goes away when turning left. Sounds like the tyre grinding away gently on something but it isn't. Can also feel the vibrations coming from the arch when i move my foot off the throttle and rest. It on the side of the footwell. Any ideas?

#4Check the handbrake cable bud I had this on my old saxo it was actually rubbing on the rear wheel but the noise was travelling down to the front of the car cable tie did the trick

#5Pads and disk will cause that sound from a knackered wheel bearing

#6Hoping its the bearing as that is the cheapest option I believe! Working all weekend though so can't take a look till Tuesday. Doesn't seem to be getting any worse though.
