   a've been offered a vts engine cheap but has 100000 on it. a was gonna keep it in the garage an clean it up before fitting to my vtr. a can't afford a full rebuild off a garage but was wondering what i could all do on my own to make it more reliable an make it run better?

   Do you get the gearbox,ecu,loom and all that malarky or is that just for the engine?

   sure it's everything apart fom gearbox. but already have vts box on.

   Its not to bad then but I;d be tempted to aave abit more cash and get a lower milage engine it save you the hassle/expense of rebuilding.

   a was really after getting a single plug vts engine but they all have higher miles on cause of the age.
