Central locking

   Can anyone help me I've got a mk 2 vtr and my central locking was working and then one day I went out to the car and it wasn't working and hasn't since does anyone know what it could be and I've changed the battery in the key fob so it's not that

   When you changed the battery in the keyfob, did you re-sync it?
   
   Ie, unlock the car WITH the key. Then press the A button [Lock] twice within 20 seconds.

   Nope I forgot to do that but even tho I didn't do it. It was still working fine for a few days

   Check that the plug hasn't come out of the master solenoid.Happened to mine.Its a case of taking the door card off tho.
   
   It may not be this just happened to me.
