Pro Sport Coilovers Anyone used them before?

I'm Looking to get my car down to -70mm on coilovers soon so i've been looking around t'internet to see what i can find.

I've heard many people saying to avoid unbranded kits on Ebay and that and to go for GAZ one's but they are rather pricey..
I've found these coilovers which look pretty good but i'm wondering if anyone has used these before and can let me know what they are like.

never seen or heard of these before

are you sure that a set of -60mm springs wont do... for the sake of it being 10mm higher than you are after there is a massive saving to be had

If you want -70mm why not spend £80-£100 on some custom springs instead of coilovers. If your never going to adjust them and are only botherd about a height not spring rates etc then thats what i would be doing.

i've heard that you can have problems with your shocks if you stick to 60mm springs with standard shocks
and all of the 60mm springs normally only lower the car 50mm which is just too high :/

Where/how would you go about getting some custom springs? I wouldn't know where to begin!

ive used -60mm gmax with standard shocks for almost 2 years in the past... covered trackdays and many road miles like it.

old dampers blow every day, standard or lowered.

cut a ring off the front bumpstop im sure it will be fine. front dampers are 10 a penny too

    stew

Springs and shocks are still cheaper

I would rather spend another £100 and buy Gaz. I bought my kit brand new when my saxo was on the road. Very good piece of kit too.

i have a feeling those pro sport coilovers will be the same as the raceland/vmax/unbranded rubbish on ebay.

Youre right, most 60mm springs will only lower a vtr by 50mm. Someone on here had 60mm citroen sport springs which are the only ones ive seen which looked the full 60mm drop

Also ive looked into custom springs before aswell. Faulkner make them, you need to provide the spring diameter, length and rate. Which is quite difficult to find out how much it'll drop by?? i remember faulkner telling me they'll be too short aswell i think.

buy some 2nd hand gaz coilovers, they pop up every now and again on here & 106owners
