No lights on dash and car won't start

   Had to post this on here as the search function isn't working!
   
   Bro has just tried to start his mk2 vtr and there are no ignition lights and the car won't start. Everything else appears to work like headlights and wipers.

   Check the voltage on the battery.

   14.4 and fully charged.

   Maybe a fuse.This happened to me, there's a fuse in a small fuse box under the bonnet just where the bonnet stand hooks onto.,i blew one of them. don't know if this is any help.thanks

   To close the thread - it was a loose wire in the ignition barrel. Pushed it back in and a bit of glue, all sorted now.
