Hi can any one help, I was out in my Saxo vtr pulled away and heard what sounded like metal snapping then when i got in the car this morning and started it there is like a droning noise when ticking over and the car is vibrating but the car drives and handles fine. i was thinking exhaust or engine mount???

#3Try getting under the car and see if anything is out of place. Ie snapped metal. Clean shine metal showing. Could leave it to idle and place something over the end of the tail pipe. You will hear if there's another hole in the pipe.
Or if it the engine mount, bon open, get some one to bring the car to clutch biting point with the hand break on. 1st n R. You will see if the engine moves lots.
Could be a lower mount. Let us know how you get on with these ideas. Kind of hard to give info when ppl are not there -
